Enlightenment: The Hidden Door
Enlightenment is like a door hidden in a forest.
Those who have seen it know it is there.
Those who have been trained can recognise it.
Those who do not see it can only stumble upon it by chance or, if lucky, with the guidance of an enlightened person, with some prompting.
Everyone who finds the hidden door knows they have found something special but they cannot accept the consequences - the annihilation of the knowledge of life as it was once lived.
The hidden door is not really hidden rather it is strenuously resisted by the mind which cannot integrate change of the spiritual kind.
